Abstract

Por ejemplo el ultrasonido puede ser variado entre 19.5 y 20.5 kHz, y esta variacion puede ser sinusoidal. Preferiblemente, el ultrasonido se proporciona solo brevemente, digamos durante menos de 5 s, antes de permitir que la solucion se enfrie gradualmente sin irradiacion posterior. El ultrasonido puede aplicarse usando un recipiente con un arreglo de transductores ultrasonicos unidos a un pared, de modo que cada transductor radie no mas de 3 W/cm2, siendo la disipacion de la potencia dentro del recipiente de entre 25 y 150 W/litro. Este metodo puede reducir el ancho de la zona metaestable hasta menos de 10 K. Es aplicable en particular al aspartame.
