Abstract

Un proceso de tratamiento superficial para mejorar la resistencia a la corrosion intergranular y agrietamiento intergranular de componentes fabricados de aleaciones basadas en Ni-Fe-Cr austeniticas que comprende la aplicacion de deformacion superficial al componente, a una profundidad en la escala de 0.01 mm a 0.5 mm, por ejemplo mediante chorreado con granalla de alta intensidad inferior a la temperatura de recristalizacion, seguido por tratamiento termico de recristalizacion, de preferencia a temperaturas de solubilizacion. La deformacion superficial y proceso de recocido se pueden repetir para optimizar adicionalmente la microestructura de la region cerca de la superficie. Despues del tratamiento termico final, el proceso comprende opcionalmente la aplicacion de deformacion (trabajo) superficial adicional de intensidad reducida, proporcionando una profundidad trabajada de entre 0.005 mm a 0.01mm, para impartir compresion residual en la region cerca de la superficie para mejorar adicionalmente la resistencia al agrietamiento.
