Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un procedimiento y a un sistema para enfriar las placas de cobre de una copilla de colada continua para metales liquidos, en especial acero liquido, con un agente de enfriamiento para coquillas transportado en canales de enfriamiento y tambien para ajustar la temperatura de la corteza de las placas de cobre la cual varia durante el aumento de velocidad desde la de arranque a la velocidad de colada nominal o al rebasar la velocidad de colada nominal, que resuelve la tarea de influir sobre la temperatura de la corteza de las placas de cobre tambien en caso de una velocidad de colada modificada, en especial mayor, de tal forma que se evite o se reduzca ampliamente la aparicion de fallas superficiales en la superficie exterior de la cuerda y/o desgarramientos en la superficie de las placas de cobre, y al modificarse la velocidad de colada entre 1 m/min a maximo 12 m/min la temperatura de la corteza de las placas de cobre se ajusta a una magnitud deseada constante por medio de la correccion cuantitativa de la cantidad de agente de enfriamiento para la copilla y/o de la temperatura inicial del agente de enfriamiento de coquillas, dependiendo de la velocidad de colada actual y del grosor de las placas de cobre.
