Abstract
La invencion se refiere a una maquina de piston rotatorio. Una caja (10) constituye una camara (12) prismatica cuya seccion transversal forma un ovalo de orden impar, que se conforma alternativamente de arcos (34, 36, 38) con un primer radio de curvatura menor y arcos (40, 42, 44) con un segundo radio de curvatura mayor, los cuales se transforman uno en otro en forma constante y diferenciada. Con esto se forman las respectivas secciones de pared interna cilindrica. En la camara (12) se conduce un piston (60) rotatorio, cuya seccion transversal forma un ovalo cuyo orden es menor por uno que el de la camara (12). En el piston (60) rotatorio se conforman secciones de envuelta opuestas, de las cuales respectivamente una gira en una seccion de pared interna de radio de curvatura identico y la otra colinda con una seccion de pared interna opuesta. El piston (60) rotatorio subdivide la camara (12) en cada posicion en dos camaras (78, 80) de trabajo. En un plano central se definen ejes (112, 114) de giro instantaneo del (60) rotatorio, los cuales son fijos con relacion al piston. Al interior y exterior de las camaras de trabajo se suministra y evacua, en forma ciclica, medio de impulsion para la impulsion del piston (60) rotatorio. En cada fase de desplazamiento, una de las secciones (70) de envuelta opuestas del piston (60) rotatorio gira alrededor de uno de los ejes (112) de giro instantaneo en una seccion (62) de pared interna, y con la seccion (72) de envuelta opuesta se desliza a lo largo de la seccion (54) de pared interna opuesta de la camara (12), en donde llega a una posicion de tope. Para la fase de desplazamiento subsiguiente el eje de giro instantaneo salta entonces a una posicion modificada, la cual corresponde al otro eje (114) de giro fijo con relacion al piston. Al piston (60) rotatorio se acopla un eje (102) motriz o inducido. Con el fin de impedir que la cinematica del eje de giro instantaneo no se defina completamente en la posicion de tope, un respectivo eje de giro instantaneo se fija temporalmente por medios mecanicos en la posicion de tope.
