Abstract

La invencion se relaciona con un aparato y un proceso para producir un lecho fijo en una unidad metalurgica, preferentemente para producir hierro de primera fusion o productos de acero primario a partir de materiales de carga que contienen hierro, en particular en un gasificador fundidor, en el cual un material grumoso a granel, que tiene constituyentes que contienen mineral y que contienen carbon, en particular, mineral de hierro prerreducido, preferentemente esponja de hierro, y, preferentemente carbon mineral grumoso, se carga sobre una superficie y se efectua un mezclado a fondo, preferentemente uniforme del constituyente que contiene mineral con el constituyente que contiene carbon del material a granel, en cuyo metodo se carga todo el constituyente que contiene mineral sobre una region circunferencial activa (region periferica) del lecho fijo, en el cual tiene lugar el mezclado a fondo, preferentemente uniforme del constituyente que contiene mineral con el constituyente que contiene carbon del material a granel. La invencion tambien comprende un dispositivo adecuado para dispersar la corriente de material a granel.
