Abstract

La presente invención se dirige a una composición para utilizar en un motor de combustión ya sea como un aditivo de combustible o como un aditivo para un lubricante de cárter. La composición puede incluir un compuesto alifático o alicíclico poli-insaturado que tiene al menos 3, pero no más de 6 dobles enlaces, para mejorar el proceso de combustión al actuar como un pseudo-catalizador en la reacción de combustión. La composición además puede incluir un derivado dihidrobenzo-gamma-pirano para mejorar el proceso de combustión al actuar como un pseudo catalizador en la reacción de combustión. La composición además puede incluir surfactantes tales como polietilen glicol y/o uno o más derivados polioxialqueno ya sea de polipropilen glicol, polietilen glicol o sorbitol. Un medio de ésteres de ácido graso se proporciona para diluir los promotores de combustión, surfactantes y otros ingredientes, permitiendo que concentraciones precisas de estos ingredientes se introduzcan en la cámara de combustible.
