Abstract

Se proporciona un metodo de descripcion de la textura en un dominio frecuencial para extraer las caracteristicas de textura al transformar y pasar por un filtro de Gabor una imagen de entrada en una imagen del dominio frecuencial y un metodo de recuperacion selectiva basado en la textura de la misma. El metodo de descripcion de la textura en el dominio frecuencial incluye: un primer paso de transformacion de una imagen en un dominio temporal en una imagen del dominio frecuencial; un segundo paso de filtracion de la imagen transformada utilizando un filtro de Gabor que tiene regiones del filtro N x M, donde N y M son numeros enteros positivos, predeterminados, respectivos; un tercer paso de extraccion de los valores de las caracteristicas de la imagen que han sido pasados por un filtro de Gabor en canales respectivos de la distribucion de la division de los dominios frecuenciales que corresponde a las regiones de filtro N x M del filtro de Gabor, y un cuarto paso de decision de un descriptor de textura de la imagen en base a los valores de las caracteristicas de la imagen.
