Abstract

"MéTODO DE DESCRIçãO DE TEXTURA E MéTODO DE RECUPERAçãO DE IMAGEM BASEADO NA TEXTURA USANDO FILTRO DE GABOR EM DOMìNIO DE FREQuêNCIA E MEIO DE REGISTRO LIDO ATRAVéS DE COMPUTADOR". Método de descrição de textura em um domínio de freq³ência para extrar as características da textura através da transformação e filtragem por Gabor de uma imagem de entrada em uma imagem de domínio de freq³ência, e um seu método de recuperação baseado na textura são proporcionados. O método de descrição da textura no domínio de freq³ência inclui: uma primeira etapa de transformar uma imagem de um domínio de tempo na forma de uma imagem de domínio de freq³ência; uma segunda etapa de filtragem da imagem transformada usando um filtro de Gabor possuindo NxM regiões de filtragem, onde N e M são inteiros positivos respectivamente predeterminados; uma terceira etapa de extrair os valores característicos da imagem que tenham sido filtradas por Gabor nos canais respectivos do esquema de divisão do domínio de freq³ência correspondente às NxM regiões de filtragem do filtro de Gabor; e uma quarta etapa de arbitrar um descritor da textura da imagem tendo por base os valores característicos da imagem.
