Description

SECURITY CLOSURE FOR BOTTLES DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a closure device for a container for liquids with a mouth located at one end of a neck extending axially from the body of the container, comprises a shedding member having an internal cavity and a shedding opening and which is positioned on the mouth and extends coaxially in relation to the neck, a valve member disposed within the cavity of the pouring member and axially movable in relation to an annular embedment to allow the liquid to flow out and to prevent fraudulent admission of the liquid, a lid to open and close the pouring opening, as well as removable seal means to allow the opening of the lid. Closure devices of the aforementioned type having seals are known in the art and are used particularly on bottles for keeping liquors or beverages of good quality. A used example of the technique is contained in the publication GB-A-2285623, in which Ref: 127021 The seal 'is constituted by a covering covering the cap and surrounding, with a portion similar to sleeves, a good portion of the axial extension of the neck and of the underlying means which fix the shedding member to the upper part of the neck. neck. The seal cover described in the aforementioned document has a first line of circumferential weakness positioned in the vicinity of the cap, a second line of weakness, which is also circumferential and positioned in the vicinity of the end of the third sleeve-like portion. , and a line of transversal weakness that connects the two circumferential lines. Except for the transverse line, the circumferential lines are constituted by grooves extending through the thickness of the material of the cover, spaced by means of connecting bridges, with the result that the visible surface of the cover is discontinuous. For this reason, the known cover is not suitable for receiving decorations or, in general, printed marks or incisions that can extend and only to an envelope passing the lines of weakness as to help provide evidence that the stamp is intact.
Moreover, the state of the art cited as the cover is connected to the neck of the container with the interposition of an auxiliary element inserted inside the neck and the inner surface of the sleeve-like portion, rendering the closure structure moderately complex and expensive. The object of the present invention is therefore to provide, within the scope of a closure device for a container for liquids of the aforementioned type, particularly a bottle, a seal cover having a large visible surface which is free of discontinuities even in the region of weakness and tear lines. A further objective of the present invention is to provide a closure device that is highly effective from the safety point of view, without penalizing the economic aspects. These objectives are achieved by a closing device with a seal, the characteristics which are in accordance with the following claims. The invention will now be described in greater detail with reference to one embodiment thereof illustrated in the accompanying drawings, also provided solely as a non-limiting example in which: Figure 1 is a vertical partial sectional view of a closure according to the invention; Figure 2 is a vertical partial sectional view of the seal cover alone; Figure 3 is a view on the interior surface of the top part; of the cover, Figure 4 is a cross section through line 4-4 of Figure 2, Figure 5 is a perspective view of the cover of Figure 2. With reference to the above-mentioned drawings, a container 2, particularly a bottle, on the mouth 3 of which a pouring member 4 is disposed, has a neck, indicated by 1. The pouring member 4 is fixed to the neck 1 by means of a plurality of tongues 5 the tips of which fit under the annular step 6 of the neck 1. The shedding member is held in a position coaxial with the xx axis of the container by a first sleeve-like portion 7 of a washer 8 of another sleeve-like end 9 of which is tightly adjusted in the mouth 3. The washer 8 maintains, or sustains by means of an additional widened sleeve 10, a spherical body 11 which acts, in a known manner, as a valve element, together with an element of closure 12 which is free to move axially from inside the cavity 13 of the pouring body. When the closing element 12 is in the closed position, it carries on it an integral annular ring 14 of the washer 8. The pouring body 4 has an opening 15 closed, in a conventional manner, by an annular band cap 16a of which is hooked by the threading on the external surface of the pouring body. In accordance with the present invention, the closure has a seal to ensure that the closure is intact until its initial opening takes place. The seal is constituted by a cover, generally indicated by 17, comprising an upper wall 18 and a sleeve 19 extending from the wall 18 beyond the section in which the shedding member 4 is mounted on the neck 1. The sleeve 19 comprises a first portion 19a adjacent the wall 18 and extending as far as the beginning of the neck, a second intermediate portion 19b and a terminal strip 19c.
The outer surface of the complete sleeve 19 is free of discontinuities, while its inner surface facing the pouring spout 4 and the neck 1 has a pair of lines of weakness 20 and 21 extending along the portion 19a of the sleeve the union corresponding to the plane of the pouring opening 15 substantially upwards to a line of circumferential weakness 22. The last one, which has been positioned together below the plane of the mouth 3 of the neck 1, intersects at least one of the lines of Weaknesses 20 and 21. Lines of weakness are constituted by incisions made in the inner portion of the cover 17 at a depth such that they do not protrude from the outer surface. The surface therefore remains free of discontinuities and can easily be individualized by decorations or inscriptions that extend even over the underlying lines of weakness, providing the cover with a good ability to prove that it is intact as a seal before being opened. A region 23 defined between the lines of weakness 20 and 21 is twisted by lengthening, in a conventional manner, a tongue 24 connected thereto and constituted a portion of the upper wall of the cover 17. This tongue 24 is connected to the ring 18 of the cover by means of at least one bridge 25 and as shown in figure 5, is defined by cuts of 20a and 21a aligned with lines of weakness 20 and 21. Although these cuts 20a and 21a are preferred for reasons of structural simplicity, they are not strictly necessary and, instead, the lines of weakness 20 and 21, which are formed on the inner surface of the portion 19a without appearing on the outside, may extend further as the base of the tongue 24. . Tearing the section 23 isolates the tubular portion 19a that can be removed by an additional tear along the line of circumferential weakness 22. After the removal of the portion 19a, the portion 19b and the band 19c remain on the neck 1. The band 19c in particular is thinner than the portion 19b to which it can closely fit against the external surface of the neck 1 without allowing a substantial grip on the collar 26 that could facilitate an attempt to remove the neck cap 17. Such removal is also prevented by the presence of a first annular projection 27 which is formed on the inner surface of the first portion 19a of the sleeve 19 and which engages under a step 28 of the shedding member 4, and by a second annular projection 29 formed on the interior surface of portion 19b. The last projection is hooked under a corresponding step 30 also of the shedding member 4. The same as for conferring considerable stability on the seal cover when it is intact and fixed on a container, the combination of the projections 27 and 29 in engagement with the respective steps 28 and 30 also restrict the portion 19b with the band 19c after removal of the upper portion 19a of the lid opening. It is noted that in relation to this date, the best method known to the applicant to carry out the aforementioned invention, is the conventional one for the manufacture of the objects or products to which it refers.
