Abstract

La presente invencion es una composicion de resina retardadora de las llamas que comprende: A) de 50 a 90 partes en peso de un polímero modificado con hule derivado de un monomero aromático de vinilo, B) de 1 a 80 partes en peso de un modificador de impacto, C) de 0.5 a 5 partes en peso de una poliolefina que tiene una densidad mayor que 0.940 g/cmü y una velocidad de flujo bajo fusion menor que 4, segun se midio de acuerdo con ASTM D1238 a 190 degree C utilizando un peso de 2.16 kg, D) una cantidad suficiente de un retardador de las llamas que contienen halogeno para proveer a la composicion con 7 a 14 partes en peso de halogeno, y E) de 2 a 6 partes en peso de un sinergista retardador de las llamas inorgánico.
