Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona a un método para la deteccion de actividad de telomerasa, en donde: (a) se proporciona una muestra que va a ser probada, (b) se agregan un primer iniciador, adecuado como un substrato para la telomerasa y trifosfatos de nucleosido, y la mezcla de reaccion se incuba bajo condiciones bajo las cuales pueden tomar lugar una extension del iniciador por la telomerasa, (c) se lleva a cabo una amplificacion del producto de extension producido por la telomerasa. (d) el producto de amplificacion que se produjo en la etapa (c) se inmoviliza sobre una fase solida, y (c) el producto de amplificacion inmovilizado se detecta cualitativamente o/y cuantitativamente. Adicionalmente, la invencion se relaciona a un estuche adecuado de reactivos para llevar a cabo el método.
