Abstract

Un manguito de fibra desvía el extremo terminal de la fibra hacia el extremo delantero del tapon para colocar una condicion de precarga en el extremo desnudo de la fibra. El conectador es particularmente adecuado para instalaciones de ruptura y bisel. De manera preferible el receptáculo utiliza un elemento de sujecion novedoso que tiene dos miembros de placa con superficies en contacto con la fibra, por lo menos una de las superficies en contacto con la fibra tiene una ranura para recibir la fibra. El resorte de tubo de division proporciona una carga controlada con precision a lo largo de los bordes de las placas, lo que permite que los extremos opuestos sean sujetados juntos (dentro del tubo de guía) por una fuerza suficiente para vencer la carga controlada del resorte de tubo de division.
