Abstract
Se divulgan composiciones de polímero cristalino de propileno teniendo mejorada resistencia al impacto y mejorada claridad. La composicion es preparada mezclando físicamente en estado fundido un polímero de propileno por ejemplo polipropileno, y de alrededor de 1 a 35% en peso de un interpolímero elastomérico de una isomonoolefina C4a C8, por ejemplo isobutileno, y un co-monomero de para-alquilestireno, por ejemplo para-metilestireno. El interpolímero de preferencia contiene un grupo funcional bencílico tal como halogeno (bromo). La composicion puede también contener de alrededor de 0.5 a 15% en peso de producto de reaccion amida de un polímero de propileno injertado con ácido orgánico, por ejemplo polipropileno injertado con anhídrido maleico, y una amina primaria polifuncional.
