Abstract
Se describen métodos para remover contaminantes de proteína a partir de una solucion que comprende trombopoyetina. La solucion se expone a hidroxiapatita, por lo que los contaminantes de proteína se enlazan a la hidroxiapatita y la trombopoyetina permanece sustancialmente sin unirse, y se recupera la trombopoyetina sin unirse. El uso de la hidroxiapatita se combina ventajosamente con otras técnicas de purificacion y de concentracion, incluyendo cromatografía de intercambio ionico, cromatografía de afinidad de ligando, cromatografía de interaccion hidrofobica, ultrafiltracion y precipitacion diferencial.
