Abstract
Un proceso para la oxidacion catalítica en la fase de vapor de etileno con un gas molecular que contiene oxígeno, en un reactor de compartimiento individual, comprende una multitud de tubos de reaccion que contienen un catalizador de plata soportado y redondeado por un fluido de intercambio de calor el cual entra al reactor en la forma líquida y sale del reactor en la forma de vapor, caracterizado en que entre 5 y 100% en peso del fluido cambiador de calor líquido es introducido al reactor a su extremo hacia abajo, a una temperatura es por lo menos 20 degree C inferior a la temperatura del fluido cambiador de calor en la salida del reactor.
