Abstract

Un método para reducir el rechazo de aloinjertos que comprende tejido donador que contiene células presentadoras de antígeno (APC), método el cual comprende: a. poner en contacto el tejido donador con un agente fotosensibilizador para obtener un tejido donador modificado; b. exponer el tejido donador modificado a una luz que tiene una longitud de onda absorbida por el agente fotosensibilizador durante un tiempo suficiente para hacer disminuir las APC en el tejido donador; y c. transplantar el tejido pobre en APC en tejido del receptor. Sometiendo el tejido donador a terapia fotodinámica, el tiempo de sobrevivencia promedio de los injertos, particularmente los aloinjertos de piel, se alarga significativamente. El fotosensibilizador también puede ser parte de un conjugado que contiene una porcion específica para el objetivo.
