Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un producto absorbente como por ejemplo una toalla sanitaria, un pañal, un cojinete de incontinencia o similar, que comprende un cuerpo absorbente encerrado entre una primera capa de revestimiento permeable a los líquidos y una segunda capa de revestimiento impermeable a los líquidos, donde el cuerpo absorbente comprende una capa absorbente que presenta una primera superficie y una segunda superficie opuesta así como una primera capa de material arreglada en contacto con la primera superficie de la capa absorbente y una segunda capa de material arreglada en contacto con la segunda superficie de la capa absorbente. De conformidad con la invencion, existe al menos una indicacion de doblado en forma de una hendidura pasante o bien de una abertura alargada arreglada en dicha capa absorbente, y una superficie de la capa absorbente se une mutuamente con la capa de material en contacto con esta superficie, dentro de la region que rodea inmediatamente dicha indicacion de doblado, en ambos lados de la misma, mientras que la superficie opuesta a la capa absorbente en dicha region no se une sobre la capa de material en contacto con esta superficie. De esta forma el doblado de las partes del producto que se encuentran en ambos lados de la indicacion de doblado, cuando el producto se encuentra sometido a fuerzas de compresion dirigidas principalmente de manera perpendicular a la indicacion de doblado, se realiza forzosamente en la direccion alejándose del lado no unido de la capa absorbente.
