Abstract

Se describen conexiones de armazon de acero que resisten el momento (SMRF) entre columnas (14) verticales y vigas (19) horizontales para la construccion original y la actualizacion de construcciones. La conexion de SMRF consiste de un montaje o conjunto (13) de tres columnas que consiste de un montaje (17) de rama principal que se acopla con un montaje (18) ramificado secundario. El montaje (17) de rama principal tiene placas (25, 26) de union paralelas verticales, aseguradas a la columna (14) vertical con rebordes (27) en cada sitio de junta de viga a columna y placas (28) de base de un extremo de la columna y un empalme (33) en el otro extremo. El montaje (18) ramificado secundario se asegura de manera normal (perpendicular) al montaje (17) de rama principal entre las placas (25, 26) de union paralela.
