Abstract
Se describe una composicion de esmalte cerámico que contiene una frita deoxido conteniendo zinc, un material de siembra de borato de zinc, un pigmento y un vehículo. El material de siembra de borato de zinc es preferentemente cristalino por naturaleza, y promueve el crecimiento del cristal al inflamarse. Un material de siembra de borato de zinc cristalino preferido se selecciona de las fases Zn3B2O6 y Zn(BO2)2 y mezclas de los mismos. Al producirse la inflamacion se forma por presion un substrato de vidrio revestido con el esmalte, los componentes del esmalte se adhieren al substrato mientras se reduce el pegoteo de la region revestida a la matriz que da la forma. El esmalte cerámico es particularmenteutil en suministrar un borde coloreado alrededor de la periferia de vidrios para automotores y es efectiva en mejorar la apariencia y reducir la degradacion de adhesivos subyacentes mediante la radiacion ultravioleta.
