Abstract
Un método de calentamiento, que consiste del paso de proveer un voltaje de línea de entre 120V y 230V a través de un encendedor de cerámica que tiene una composicion de zona caliente que consiste de: (a) entre 50 y 80 v/o de una zona cerámica eléctricamente aislante con una resistividad de por lo menos aproximadamente 1010 ohm-cm; (b) entre 10 y 45 v/o de un material semiconductor que tiene una resistividad de entre aproximadamente 1 y aproximadamente 108 ohm-cm; (c) entre 5 y 25 v/o de un conductor metálico que tiene una resistividad de menos de aproximadamente 10-2 ohm-cm; entre 2.0 y 20 v/o de un compuesto mejorador de resistividad seleccionado del grupo que consiste de oxidos metálicos, oxinitruros metálicos, oxidos de tierra rara, oxinitruros de tierra rara y mezclas de los mismos.
