Abstract
La presente invencion se relaciona con un método para la síntesis de trifloruro de nitrogeno a partir de gas de fluor elemental y una fuente de amonio en una reaccion de fase de gas-líquido que comprende: 3 F2 + NH4H(x-1)Fx ------> NF3 + (3+x) HF en donde la reaccion de fusion HF/NH3 representada por X en la formula anterior es de por lo menos 2.55 y el líquido de reaccion se agita o mezcla con un aparato mezclador con potencia introducida al aparato de mezclado a un alto nivel equivalente a o mayor que 100 watts por metro cubico. Este método de síntesis mejorado permite rendimientos de trifloruro de nitrogeno mejorados del 70% o mayores.
