Abstract

Una velocidad de salida de motor es controlada para la eficiencia optima mediante el ajuste de la velocidad de entrada para una transmision continuamente variable (CVT). En donde se requiere un exceso de la energía proporcionada por el motor, la energía adicional es metida al tren de potencia desde un motor fluídico impulsado por la presion de fluido almacenada en un acumulador. En las condiciones de impulsion en donde el motor, operando a una eficiencia optima, produce energía en exceso de aquella demanda por el vehículo, el motor fluídico es invertido para la operacion como una bomba y la energía de motor en exceso es utilizada para impulsar la bomba y almacenar la energía en el acumulador en la forma de presion de fluido. Un CPU determina la salida de potencia requerida del motor como una suma de aquella indicada por un sensor que percibe la potencia demandada del vehículo por un manejador y un incremento de potencia requerido para mantener la presion del acumulador arriba de una cantidad de umbral.
