Abstract

Se procesan los datos de audio provenientes de una corriente de datos empaquetados que portan informacion de television digital en una sucesion de paquetes de transporte de longitud fija. Algunos de los paquetes contienen una hora y fecha de presentacion (PTS) indicativa de un tiempo para comenzar la emision de datos de audio asociados. Después de que se ha adquirido la corriente de datos de audio, los paquetes de audio detectados se monitorean para localizar los subsecuentes PTS para ajustar el tiempo en el que los datos de video se emiten, proporcionando de esta manera la apropiada sincronizacion de labios con el video asociado. Los errores en los datos de audio se procesan de una manera que intenta mantener la sincronizacion de la corriente de datos de audio al tiempo que enmascara los errores. En el caso de que no pueda mantenerse la condicion de sincronizacion, por ejemplo, en presencia de errores en más de un bloque de audio, la corriente de datos de audio es readquirida en tanto que la salida de audio es ocultada. Una condicion de error se señala en el codificador de audio alterando la palabra de sincronizacion de audio asociada con el bloque de audio en el cual ocurrio el error.
