Abstract

La presente invencion suministra componentes de poliol y composiciones capaces de proporcionar propiedades internas de liberacion del molde en aplicaciones de moldeo estructural de inyeccion de reaccion ("SRIM"). La composicion de poliol de la invencion tiene un poliol (A) reactivo de isocianato, que tiene un peso molecular promedio, en numero, de 100 hasta aproximadamente 10,000 y una cantidad efectiva de la composicion interna (B) de liberacion del molde, que tiene un polímero (a) que contiene silicio y al menos un compuesto (b) funcional de diéster, el cual es el producto de reaccion de (i) un ácido carboxílico aromático e (ii) alcoholes que tienen de 2 a 30 átomos de carbono. La invencion además suministra una composicion de poliol de SRIM, util en la preparacion de artículos de poliol moldeados, que tienen propiedades internas de liberacion del molde, la composicion comprende un componente (I) de isocianato y la composicion del poliol reactivo de isocianato (componente (II)), descrita anteriormente. En otro aspecto de la invencion, esta invencion suministra métodos para emplear las composiciones reclamadas, al igual que los artículos de SRIM de poliol, celulares y rígidos, los cuales se producen de tales procesos.
