Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona con composiciones de espuma de poliuretano de revestimiento integral sopladas con agua, artículos de poliuretano moldeados, un proceso para preparar estos artículos y una composicion de isocianato para usarse en el mismo. En particular, la invencion se relaciona con artículos de poliuretano moldeados de revestimiento integral soplados con agua que tienen propiedades físicas particularmente ventajosas y las composiciones utiles para producir estos artículos. En particular, la invencion proporciona una composicion de poliuretano que tiene un componente de isocianato (a), un componente reactivo al isocianato (b), un agente hinchador que comprende agua (c), un poliéter (d) se selecciona del grupo que consiste de politetrahidrofurano y polietilenglicol que tiene un peso molecular promedio en numero de 200 y 2000 y opcionalmente, uno o más aditivos (e) del grupo que consiste de catalizadores, agentes de alargamiento de cadena, alcoholes oxo y mezclas de los mismos. La composicion puede estar caracterizada porque los artículos de poliuretano de revestimiento integral producidos de la composicion tienen una resistencia a la tension mayor o igual a 31.64 kilogramos por centímetro cuadrado y/o una abrasion Taber (pérdida en miligramos) de menos de 200.
