Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un sistema de control automático de ganancia (ACC) de modo dual para un receptor de television en donde datos en la forma de símbolos ocurren a una velocidad de símbolos fija. Los símbolos se envían en segmentos de datos sucesivos, cada uno tiene un carácter de sincronizacion. La activacion de una señal de superacion control automático de frecuencia (AFC) define un intervalo inicial durante el cual la ganancia de frecuencia intermedia (IF) es máxima. Cuando la señal de anulacion AFC se vuelve inactiva, el receptor se opera en un modo no coherente en el que la ganancia del amplificador IF se reduce de manera incrementada, siempre que la señal IF excede un nivel de recorte por un período de ocho sincronizaciones de símbolo sucesivas. Cuando ocurre una condicion de neclavamiento de sincronizacion de segmento, se accesa a un modo coherente normal, en donde el AGC responde a una característica de señal, es decir sincronizacion de segmento de dato. La velocidad de cambio de ganancia disponible en el modo AGC no coherente es mucho mayor que en el AGC coherente normal.
