Abstract

Una composicion que comprende: (a) un soporte transparente; (b) que se recubre sobre cuando menos un lado con un recubrimiento transparente que comprende: (b1) un polímero hidrofobico exento de plastificante que tiene una temperatura de transicion al vidrio Tg de -150 degree C a 50 degree C; (b2) contra-iones en la forma de sale lipofílicas; (b3) un ionoforo que forma un complejo con el ion que se va a determinar, y (b4) un compuesto de la formula (I) ò (II) como fluoroforo: en donde R1 y R3, y R1 y R6 son alquilo de 1 a 30 átomos de carbono, o alquilo de 1 a 30 átomos de carbono-CO-, y R2 y R5 son H o alquilo de 1 a 30 átomos de carbono, con la condicion de que el numero total de átomos de carbono en los grupos alquilo sea de cuando menos 5, o una sal del mismo, con un ácido inorgánico u orgánico. La composicion es altamente adecuada para la determinacionoptica cualitativa o cuantitativa de iones por medio de deteccion de fluorescencia.
