Abstract
Esta invencion es un dispositivo y un procedimiento para la correccion de las anormalidades opticas en un ojo humano. Este involucra el uso de una sonda (200) de energía electroquirurgica, de la invencion, con configuraciones físicas específicas (204). Este es colocado preferentemente en la superficie anterior de la cornea a través y que termina por atrás de la capa de Bowman del ojo. La sonda electroquirurgica es luego introducida en el sitio de acceso y, dependiendo de la anormalidad visual a ser corregida, la sonda es activada para ajustar el volumen de las capas estromáticas corneales a través de ablacion o desecacion.
