Abstract

Se describe un dispositivo para unir dos cables eléctricos aéreos con elementos conductores de ondas luminosas dispuestos en una union encordada de conductores eléctricos y elementos portadores resistentes a la traccion, elementos conductores de luz hechos de tubitos que contienen fibras opticas. Se proveen medios para la union mecánica y eléctricamente conductora del conductor eléctrico y los elementos portadores resistentes a la traccion de cada cable aéreo así como una caja hermetizada para la recepcion de las uniones de empalme de las fibras eléctricas. La caja [5] consiste de dos tubos concéntricos separados entre sí [7.9], cuya escotadura anular esta hermetizada por ambos extremos. Las fibrasopticas se introducen en la escotadura anular a través de perforaciones [12] que existen en la hermetizacion [8] del lado extremo. La union de empalme así como una longitud de reserva de las fibras opticas están colocadas en la escotadura anular, y la caja [5] rodea a los medios [21.3] para la union mecánica y eléctricamente conductora y está fijada sobre los medios [3] o los cables aéreos [1].
