Abstract

복합 케이블(20)은 금속도체부(22)와 같은 제1 전송부와 광섬유부(24)와 같은 제2전송부를 포함한다. 상기 금속도체부는 플라스틱 코어 피복부내에 둘러싸인 꼬여진 쌍의 금속도체를 포함하는 코어, 실딩 시스템 및 플라스틱 쟈켓(48)을 포함한다. 종적으로 연장된 덕트(52)는 금속도체부의 플라스틱 쟈켓의 외면과 결합되도록 배열되어 있다. 외부 플라스틱 쟈켓(60)은 덕트와 금속도체부에 대하여 배열되어 있다. 광섬유 케이블(50) 또는 광섬유(51,51)는 섬유의 사용이 경제적으로 결정될때나 초기에 덕트내에 배열되도록 된다.

제4도는 광섬유부와 예비 덕트를 포함한 또 다른 실시예.

Claims (10)

  1. 복합 케이블에 있어서, 플라스틱 쟈켓을 포함하는 외장 시스템을 갖는 제 1전송부와, 플라스틱 물질로 제조된 덕트를 포함하고 상기 제1 전송부의 쟈켓외부에 배열된 제2전송부와, 상기 제1 및 제2 전송부를 함께 유지하기 위하여 제1 및 제2 전송부 주위에 배열된 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합케이블.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 전송부는 외장 시스템내에 배열된 다수의 절연된 금속도체의 꼬여진 쌍을 포함하는 금속도체부이고, 상기 덕트는 광섬유 전송 매개체를 수용하며, 상기 수단은 외부쟈켓을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합케이블.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 금속도체부는 다수의 절연된 도체의 꼬여진 쌍의 주변을 감싸고 있는 플라스틱 물질의 스트립을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합케이블.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 금속도체부는 플라스틱 쟈켓과 다수의 절연된 금속 도체의 꼬여진 쌍 사이에 배치된 실딩 시스템을 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합케이블.
  5. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 금속도체부의 덕트 및 쟈켓은 서로 이격되어 있고 이들 사이에서 연장하는 플라스틱 웨브에 의하여 결합되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합케이블.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 종방향으로 연장된 테이프는 덕트내에 배열되고 덕트내로 광섬유 또는 광섬유 케이블을 당기는데 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합케이블.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 케이블은 제1전송부의 쟈켓외부에 배열되어 있고 거기에 수용된 수용된 광 전송 매개체를 가질수 있는 2개의 덕트를 포함하며, 상기 수단은 제1전송부와 두개의 덕트를 둘러싸는 외부쟈켓을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합케이블.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 덕트 한쪽내에 배열된 다수의 광섬유를 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합케이블.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 수단은 외부쟈켓을 포함하고, 상기 복합 케이블은 종방향으로 연장된 강성부재를 포함하는 공중지지부와, 종방향으로 연장된 강성부재 주변에 배열되어 있는 플라스틱 재료로 제조된 웨브에 위하여 외부쟈켓에 연결되 쟈켓을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합케이블.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 전기 동력을 전달하기 위한 수단을 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합케이블.
