Abstract
La presente invencion describe una composicion a base de almidon adecuada para utilizarse como una base para productos de confitería sin azucar, la composicion de la presente invencion comprende almidon de tapioca de hidroxipropilo, adelgazado, gelatina y un poliol adecuado; los componentes de la composicion están presentes en tales cantidades que el pH de la placa dental no cae por abajo de 5.7 después de consumo del producto de confitería sin azucar conteniendo los componentes indicados.
