Abstract

Un método para hacer bloques de motor revestidos mediante (a) moldeado de un bloque de motor metálico que tiene una o más perforaciones de cilindro; (b) fabricar un recubrimiento de pared delgada para cada perforacion, el recubrimiento estando constituido de tubería metálica extruida que tiene una superficie interna limpia, un espesor de pared controlado a un espesor de 1-3 mm +-15 micrones, el diámetro externo del recubrimiento siendo ligeramente mayor que el diámetro interno de las perforaciones del cilindro; (c) hacer girar relativamente el recubrimiento con respecto a una o más boquillas para aplicar una pluralidad de materiales a la superficie interna del recubrimiento, los materiales comprendiendo, primero, el fluido de texturizacion de metal que se aplica a presiones elevadas para exponer el metal fresco de la superficie, segundo, un material de revestimiento de enlace que se rocía térmicamente para formar un enlace metalurgico con la superficie interna de recubrimiento, y un revestimiento superior de material antifriccion que se rocía con plasma adherentemente al revestimiento de enlace; (d) asentar la superficie interna revestida para eliminar hasta 150 micrones de revestimiento superior, dejando una superficie terminada que es concéntrica al eje de tubo dentro de +-15 micrones; y (e) ajustar por interferencia el recubrimiento revestido a la perforacion del cilindro congelando el recubrimiento mientras que se ambiente el bloque a o por encima de la temperatura ambiente para permitir el implante del recubrimiento.
