Abstract
La presente invencion describe un tipo híbrido de estructura de igualador o ecualizador con retroalimentacion en la decision (IRD) que se aproxima al desempeño optimo del IRD. El IRD híbrido incluye tanto un IRD para interferencia de intersímbolos (IIS-IRD) como un IRD que predice ruido (PR-IRD). En particular, una seccion de filtro con avance hacia adelante adaptable es seguida tanto por un filtro de prediccion de interferencia de intersímbolos (IIS) como por un filtro de prediccion de ruido (PR). El transmisor correspondiente usa un precodificador que utiliza valores de coeficientes optimos, denotados como C(z), de la estructura del IRD híbrido. En particular, C(z) es igual a (1 + I(z)) (1 + N(z))-1, en donde la notacion I(z) y N(z), como se conocen en la técnica, representan los valores de coeficientes resultantes después de la adaptacion de IIS-IRD y el PR-IRD, respectivamente.
