Abstract
un codigo de correccion de error de símbolo externo es concatenado con un codigo en reja multidimencional en perforacion, para proveer un esquema optimo para las señales de television digital en un canal de amplitud de banda estándar (por ejemplo aproximadamente seis Mhz)vía una Reed de television por cable o lo similar. Una señal de salida es codificada para producir bloques sucesivos. Cada bloque comprende símbolos de codigos de siete-bit N en el cual M representa la informacion a ser comunica la informacion de correccion de error, M/N es también 120/126, 121/127 o 122/128. Los bloques son intercalados y pueden ser suplementados con símbolos de control que incluyen un patron de sincronizacion para M/N = 121/127 o M/N = 122/128. Los bloques intercalados son codificados convolucionalmente utilizando un codigo en reja interno teniendo una tasa de perforacion de 4/5 (sesenta y cuatro QAM) o 3/4 (dieciséis QAM). Los símbolos externos son modulados en multinivel para la transmision sobre una trayectoria de comunicacion utilizando por ejemplo, dieciséis o sesenta y cuatro QAM. Los símbolos transmitidos son descodificados usando un descodificador en reja, desintercalados y además descodificados en un descodificador de error de símbolo concatenado con el descodificador en reja interno.
