Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona con un equipo, el método, y el aparato de diagnostico por inmunoensayo para determinar electroquímicamente la concentracion de un analito o sustancia que se va analizar en una muestra. Se forma una mezcla que incluye la muestra, un polipéptido receptor de enzima, un polipéptido donador de enzima ligado a un análogo del analito (conjugado polipéptido donador de enzimas), un sustrato marcado, y un anticuerpo específico para el analito que será un medicamento. El analito y el conjugado polipéptido donador de enzima se unen competitivamente al anticuerpo. Cuando el conjugado polipéptido donador de enzima no se une al anticuerpo, se combinará espontáneamente con el polipéptido receptor de enzima para formar un complejo enzimático activo. La enzima activa hidroliza el sustrato marcado, dando como resultado la generacion de una marca electroactiva, la cual puede ser entonces oxidasa en la superficie de un electrodo. Una corriente electroactiva, resultante de la oxidacion del compuesto, puede ser medida y correlacionada con la concentracion de analito en la muestra.
