Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un método para producir alcanolaminas o alquilenaminas que tienen un color reducido que comprende poner en contacto, en presencia de agua, alcanolaminas o alquilenaminas que contienen color con un catalizador acídico solido que comprende un oxido de metal que tiene una funcionalidad de ácido inorgánico ligada que se selecciona del grupo que consiste de cloruro, fluoruro y iones de sulfato, bajo condiciones efectivas para reducir el color de las alcanolaminas o alquilenaminas.
