Abstract

La presente invención describe un mecanismo de lavado por descarga de agua, para utilizarse con el tanque de un inodoro o retrete. El mecanismo permite la selección entre ciclos de lavado por descarga de agua, de dos diferentes duraciones de tiempo. El tanque tiene una pared con una salida en la misma, y un miembro de la válvula. El mecanismo de lavado por descarga de agua tiene un vástago, unido en un extremo a la válvula, un flotador, montado en forma deslizable en el vástago, y una leva conectada en forma de pivote o giratoria al vástago adyacente al flotador. La leva puede girar entre una posición para el lavado de corta duración por descarga de agua, en donde el flotador asume una posición elevada a lo largo del vástago, y una posición para el lavado de larga duración por descarga de agua, en donde el miembro de la leva fuerza al flotador hacia una posición baja a lo largo del vástago.
