Abstract
En el método de la invención, se determina una fracción de masa desconocida (F) de criógeno sólido, en un sistema de refrigeración criogénica almacenado. El método incluye las etapas de agregar masa (T) de una substancia en trazas que es soluble en la fase líquida del sistema. La cantidad de masa total (M) del criógeno en el sistema se determina al tiempo de cargar el sistema. La concentración de masa inicial (C1) de la substancia en trazas se determina al dividir (T) por (M). Durante operación de sistema de refrigeración criogénica almacenado, una pequeña muestra del criogénico en fase líquida se extrae del sistema. La muestra se analiza para determinar la nueva concentración (Cn) de la substancia en trazas de la muestra. La mueva concentración (Cn) de la muestra depende de la cantidad de criógeno sólido que se ha producido en el sistema. Posteriormente, la fracción de masa (F) del criógeno sólido en el sistema se determina al resolver la ecuación: F1-(C1/Cn).
