Abstract

En la presente se describen mejoras en un procedimiento para fabricar carbonato de estroncio granulado. En el procedimiento se mezcla como aglutinante óxido de estroncio, hidróxido de estroncio o hidróxido de estroncio hidratado y eventualmente agua, siendo granulado y secado en la secuencia deseada o bien simultáneamente. En una modalidad preferida de realización el material a granular o granulado no entra en contacto en ninguna etapa del procedimiento con materiales refractario inorgánicos. El carbonato de estroncio obtenido mediante este procedimiento también es objeto de la presente invención y está libre de iones extraños aportados y de acuerdo a una modalidad preferida de realización el carbonato de estroncio está libre de material refractario el carbonato de estroncio está libre de material refractario inorgánico. El mismo resulta apropiado a modo de ejemplo como materia prima para la fabricación de vidrio.
