Abstract

E' descritto un procedimento per la produzione di carbonato di stronzio granulato. Nel procedimento si aggiunge come legante ossido di stronzio, idrossido di stronzio o idrossido di stronzio idratato e, eventualmente, acqua e, in qualsivoglia successione o simultaneamente si granula e si essicca. In una forma realizzativa preferita il materiale da granulare, rispettivamente granulato non viene in contatto in nessun stadio di processo con materiale inorganico refrattario. Il carbonato di stronzio ottenuto secondo il procedimento è parimenti oggetto dell'invenzione ed è privo di ioni estranei aggiunti e, secondo una forma realizzativa preferita, privo di materiale inorganico refrattario. Esso è adatto, per esempio, all'impiego come elemento nella fabbricazione del vetro.
