Abstract
Un brazo de control superior para un sistema de suspensión de vehículo que tiene una sección de módulo de construcción hueca para peso reducido. La sección de módulo del brazo de control es de construcción estampada y soldada, eliminando de esta manera peso de material mientras se reduce el costo de fabricación. La sección de módulo tiene una configuración esencialmente triangular con una pestaña de aro reforzada a lo largo de un área de elevada comprensión-tensión del codo del brazo de control. La pestaña de aro reforzada mejora la resistencia del brazo de control sin sacrificar la reducción de peso proporcionada por la construcción hueca.
