Abstract
Se proporciona un método para inhibir la formación de sedimentos en sistemas acuosos, que utilizan copolímeros de bajo peso molecular, solubles en agua. Se prefieren los copolímeros formados de 30 a 70 por ciento en peso, aproximadamente, de ácidos acrílicos y de 70 a 30 por ciento en peso, aproximadamente, de ácido metacrílico, que tienen un peso molecular promedio de 2000 a 5000, aproximadamente, para inhibir la formación de sedimentos de fosfato de calcio y de carbonato de calcio.
