Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de flottation consistant à additionner la pulpe d'une quantité mineure d'un polymère d'acide vinyl sulfonique ou d'un polymère d'acide allyl sulfonique comme déprimant ou dépresseur pour les constituants qui doivent, de préférence, flotter à un degré minime. Cest ainsi que les polymères sont des dépresseurs de baryte efficaces dans la flottation de minéraux fluorures et de carbonates de terres rares. Les polymères sont également utilisables comme dépresseurs de monazite.
