Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a método para controlar la formación de sedimentos en soluciones acuosas con copolímeros de bajo peso molecular, o sarro, de las sales de iones formadoras de dureza en un sistema acuoso, caracterizado porque comprende agregar una cantidad inhibidora de sedimentos de un copolímero, soluble en agua, de bajo peso molecular, a dicho sistema, para inhibir la precipitación de las sales de iones de dureza y dispersar las sales de iones de dureza precipitados en dicho sistema, este copolímero siendo un copolímero de ácido acrílico y de ácido metacrílico formado de 30 a 70 por ciento en peso, aproximadamente, de ácido acrílico y de 70 a 30 por ciento en peso, aproximadamente, de ácido metacrílico, y en donde dicho copolímero tiene un peso molecular promedio de 2000 a 5000 aproximadamente.
