Abstract

Se describen las cubiertas de gel de uretano y éster de vinilo, epoxi, o poliéster insaturado, co-curados, que tienen una mejor resistencia y flexibilidad en comparación con las cubiertas de gel de poliéster; las cubiertas de gel, que tienen 10-50 % en peso contenido de uretano, se adhieren bien a las capas estructurales y pueden ser utilizadas en un procedimiento tradicional en molde; también se describen los recubrimientos elastoméricos co-curados que comprenden de 50 a 95 % en peso de un componente de uretano y un poliéster insaturado, epoxi, o éster de vinilo; a diferencia de los recubrimientos de uretano convencionales, los recubrimientos elastoméricos se adhieren bien a las capas estructurales y pueden ser utilizados en un procedimiento tradicional en molde; también se describen los moldeados o capas estructurales que comprenden un termofraguado reforzado de componentes de uretano y éster de vinilo, epoxi, o poliéster insaturado, co-curados, incluyendo 10-95 % en peso del componente de uretano; la invención incluye procedimientos en molde para formar laminados que utilizan las cubiertas de gel, los recubrimientos elastoméricos, y/o las capas estructurales; el procedimiento en molde da laminados que contienen uretano, flexibles y duraderos que tienen buena adhesión entre las capas.
