Abstract
La presente invención se refiere al Virus de la Tilapia del Lago aislado o TiLV, y las secuencias y polipéptidos de 5 ácido nucleico aislado del mismo. La invención también se refiere a sondas y cebadores, y a anticuerpos contra antígenos del TiLV, y el uso de estos reactivos para detectar la presencia o ausencia de TiLV en un animal. La invención también se refiere a ARNis que se dirigen a 10 secuencias de ácido nucleico de TiLV. La invención también se refiere a composiciones inmunogénicas, incluyendo anticuerpos y vacunas, para inducir una respuesta inmune contra TiLV en un animal. La invención también se refiere a construcciones genéticas y células que comprenden TiLV y 15 secuencias de ácidos nucleicos aislados y polipéptidos de las mismas para su uso en el desarrollo de agentes profilácticos y terapéuticos.
