Abstract
La presente invención se dirige a composiciones curables formadoras de película que comprenden: (a) un ligante polimérico que comprende: (i) un polisiloxano que tiene grupos funcionales reactivos y en los cuales se dispersan partículas de sílice protonadas que tienen un tamaño promedio de partícula de 2 a 20 micras; y (ii) opcionalmente, al menos una resina polimérica adicional diferente del polisiloxano (i), que tiene grupos funcionales reactivos; y (b) un agente de curado que contiene grupos funcionales que son reactivos con los grupos funcionales reactivos de (i) y/o (ii) . Después de la aplicación a un sustrato como un revestimiento y después del curado, la composición curable formadora de película demuestra un brillo inicial de 85° de menos de 30 y un incremento en brillo de 85° de no más de 10 unidades de brillo cuando se somete a varios MÉTODOS DE PRUEBA DE ABRASIÓN como se define en la presente. También se proporciona un método para mejorar la resistencia al bruñido de un sustrato que utiliza las composiciones curables formadoras de película de la presente invención.
