Abstract

Un dispositivo quirúrgico para asistir a la colocación de un implante de prótesis dentro de un bolsillo quirúrgico de un paciente de modo que la colocación minimice la tensión del tejido a lo largo y dentro del bolsillo quirúrgico. El dispositivo quirúrgico comprende una bolsa con forma de tronco cónico en donde un extremo proximal del tronco cónico está sellado y un extremo distal del tronco cónico está abierto, con una abertura alargada que se extiende desde el extremo distal hacia el extremo proximal. Una abertura formada por la abertura distal y la abertura alargada es suficientemente grande para aceptar el implante de prótesis en la bolsa. De acuerdo con una modalidad, un adhesivo está fijo a lo largo de una porción de la abertura alargada para sellar la abertura alargada de modo que el extremo distal permanezca abierto de modo de permitir el egreso del implante desde la bolsa y colocarse en el bolsillo quirúrgico.
