Abstract

Un dispositivo de recolección de muestras que tiene un tubo de muestra, un embudo y una tapa que tiene una cápsula y un inserto de perforación, en donde la cápsula tiene una solución de estabilización. Después de depositar la muestra dentro del tubo a través del embudo, la tapa se enrosca en el tubo, perforando la cápsula y liberando el fluido de estabilización dentro del tubo. El dispositivo se puede utilizar en casa sin supervisión clínica para recolectar una muestra de saliva y transportar la muestra a una ubicación de análisis para realizar un análisis de ADN.
