Abstract
Un arreglo de sellado altamente flexible diseñado para sellar orificios de horno de alta temperatura, particularmente el orificio de electrodo de un horno eléctrico. El sello comprende un miembro de soporte anular fijo a un miembro de sellado flexible y emplea el uso de un resorte de liga para aplicar uniformemente la cantidad deseada de compresión de sellado. El arreglo y la flexibilidad del miembro de sellado permiten que el sello se adapte por sí mismo al amplio intervalo de operación y condiciones difíciles que existen típicamente para un sello de electrodo de horno.
